Foreigners, including residence permit holders and stateless individuals, are allowed to cross the border of Ukraine:
• With a valid passport (the passport must be valid for the entire duration of stay in the country);
• Citizens of Turkey and Georgia can enter Ukraine based on their ID card (this permission has been available since March 2019);
• A residence permit that expired after February 24, 2022, allows entry into Ukraine;
• In the absence of a decision by the authorized state body of Ukraine prohibiting entry into Ukraine;
• With an entry visa, unless otherwise provided by the legislation of Ukraine;
• With a clearly confirmed purpose of the planned stay;
• With sufficient financial means for the planned duration of stay and for return to the country of origin or transit to a third country, or with the ability to obtain sufficient financial means legally within the territory of Ukraine;
• With medical insurance.
